Who We Are
Stone Soup Foundation
Stone Soup Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization founded in 2018 on the belief that stable housing is the foundation of a thriving family.
Born from the founders' personal experience watching single mothers navigate impossible tradeoffs between work, childcare, and recovery support, the organization set out to close the gap between renting and owning for mothers who are already doing everything right. Through a rent-to-own housing program, daycare scholarships, credit-building resources, and entrepreneurial mentorship, Stone Soup removes the financial barriers that keep hardworking women from building lasting equity.
When a mother gains a home, her children gain stability, and her community gains a ripple effect of growth and generosity she carries forward.
