Who We Are
The G.R.O.W. Project
The G.R.O.W. Project is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization based in Birmingham, Alabama, dedicated to providing financial literacy and economic empowerment to underserved individuals and families of all ages.
We believe that financial education is the cornerstone of breaking the poverty cycle, so we meet our community where they are, offering programs in math, writing, and reading comprehension through the lens of real-world financial skills. Beyond education, we go further: awarding scholarships to students pursuing higher education and extending direct support through utility assistance for families navigating hardship.
