Who We Are
Fleet Reserve Association
Founded on November 11, 1924, the Fleet Reserve Association is a congressionally chartered, non-profit organization built on a singular purpose: speaking as one unified voice for the active duty, reserve, retired, and veteran personnel of the U.S. Navy, Marine Corps, and Coast Guard.
For more than 100 yers, FRA has championed on Capitol Hill to protect military pay, benefits, and allowances; working closely with the Departments of Defense, Homeland Security, and Veterans Affairs to ensure no service member is left without the support they earned. In 2016, FRA members voted overwhelmingly to establish the FRA Veterans Service Foundation, a 501(c)(3) charitable organization that expands the association's reach through free VA claims representation, educational programming, and scholarship funding.
Guided by the principles of Loyalty, Protection, and Service, FRA remains one of the largest and most respected organizations dedicated to serving the Sea Services community.
