From David's Soup Kitchen and the Amani House women's shelter to youth programs, transitional housing, and community development, we are building a stronger North Memphis one life at a time.

El Shaddai Mission Outreach Center
El Shaddai Mission Outreach Center (ESMOC) is a faith-based, state-chartered 501(c)3 Community Development Corporation serving the disadvantaged and disabled residents of Uptown/North Memphis, Tennessee.
Founded on the belief that every person deserves to be cared for in spirit, mind, and body, ESMOC delivers life-changing programs including David's Soup Kitchen, the Amani House women's emergency shelter, transitional housing for men in recovery, youth enrichment, a clothing outreach closet, and financial literacy classes. Our name says it all: we exist to Empower, Support, Motivate, create Opportunity, and cultivate Citizenship in the communities we love.
Guided by President C.F. Jones and a dedicated team of volunteers and board members, ESMOC is not just serving North Memphis; we are rebuilding it.
