Black Nurse Collaborative
The Black Nurse Collaborative (BNC) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization founded by Meedie L. Bardonille with a clear and urgent purpose: uniting Black nursing professionals across the country to build a sustained network centered on professional growth, entrepreneurship, and health equity..
Guided by the core values of Integrity, Compassion, Advocacy, Respect, and Excellence (iCare), the BNC equips its members with mentorship, scholarship funding, continuing education, and connections to influential leaders across clinical, academic, and community health settings. From the annual State of Black Health Summit to professional development webinars and community outreach partnerships, the BNC creates measurable, real-world impact for Black nurses and the patients they serve.
With a vision rooted in health justice and a commitment to collective advancement, the BNC is a movement building a more equitable future for nursing and for the communities that depend on it.
