More than 60% of Latino youth grow up in low-income households. Only 24% complete a four-year college degree. The Colubus Institute exists to change those numbers through scholarships, financial literacy tools, and community-driven education.

The Columbus Institute is a nonprofit organization committed to advancing Latino communities through access to higher education, financial literacy, and civic empowerment.
We provide scholarships, interactive policy guides, college application toolkits, and financial literacy resources that equip Latino students and families with the tools they need to overcome systemic barriers. Our work is rooted in a simple truth: talent and ambition are never in short supply in the Latino community; opportunity is.
Through strategic partnerships and community investment, we are building pathways that turn potential into progress, one student at a time.
